M5 began it's way in 1985, when the first sedan was produced: BMW M5 (code E28). The real deal car, truly massive piece of ingeneering from M department of BMW GmbH, was its third generation - from 1998 to 2003, the Germans have sold around 22,482 cars worldwide. Next M (index E60) was less succcful but still amazing 20,000 sedans and wagoons weere sold between 2005 and 2010. Can you imagine how many people are waiting for the new M5? Well, I'm in the line for a test drive.
